United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Our Circles meet regularly for fellowship and service. All Women are encouraged to participate. We also welcome you to attend District Meetings and Group Circle Gatherings for personal enrichment and the opportunity to get to know one another.
Rehobeth Circle – Meets monthly, the first Thursday, at 9:30 am. Contact Lisa Martin for details.
Esther Circle – Meets monthly, the first Thursday, at 7 pm. Contact Becky Stegall for details.On summer break until September.
Servant’s Heart: Meets monthly on the third Monday at 7 pm to have devotions, fellowship, and plan local mission activities in room 158. Contact Karen Kraynock for details.
Calling all bakers and White Thumbs!
Donations of homemade Cake’s, Pies, Cookies, Brownies, Fudge, & Breads needed for MUMC United Methodist Women’s Bake Sale. Held in conjunction with MUMC United Methodist Men’s Family Pancake breakfast. May 6th: 7 am-12 noon. All Bake Sale proceeds with support the UMW College Scholarships awarded to Students within our Church. Items need to be brought to the Church on Friday afternoon, May 5th between 2:30-7pm and dropped off in the Inquirer’s classroom next to the Chapel and labeled with the baker’s name and whether it contains nuts, and a suggested price. 87 women, including 12 staff members, attended the Women’s Retreat at Lake Junalska Retreat Center in January. The United Methodist Women donated $900 in scholarships for 9 women who would not have been able to participate otherwise. Enjoy these photos from the retreat.
