Close-knit community begins with relationships fostered by loving groups. To sum up the first commandment given to us in Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus said to love God and love people. Find your place to connect.
Bridge – Two weekly sessions: Mondays 12:45 – 3:00 pm & Wednesdays 10 – 12 noon in Room 158.
Ballroom and Line Dancing – Ballroom Dance – Mondays 1:00 pm & Line Dance – Tuesdays 1:00 pm. Both are held in the Eagles Nest building by the signal light entrance to campus. Do your spirits need a lift? Come enjoy music and fellowship while enjoying the dance classes. No need to participate – just come and enjoy the atmosphere!
Couples in Christ – Meets the first Monday of the month.
Disciple – Studies begin in January & September.
Hearts & Hands – Meets periodically.
JOY Book Club – Meets the first Wednesday of each month from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm in Room 180. (Does not meet June – August).
Melody Makers – Rehearsal 9:30-10:45 am on Tuesdays in Brewer Hall.
New Member Class – Coffee with Pastors Chuck & Paul (Introduction to A Disciple’s Path) – Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 3:00 -4:30 pm. A Disciple’s Path class: Sundays, January 14-February 18 from 11:00 am – Noon. Contact Karen for more information.
Seasoned To Perfection – Meetings begin at 11:00 am Tuesday Mornings with a program in The Commons followed by lunch at 12:00 noon. No Seasoned to Perfection November 21-December! Will begin again January 9, 2018. Don’t forget to make your meal reservation by midnight the Sunday before by calling 704-815-1982!
Short-term Studies – Various studies meet periodically during the year. Preregistration required.
Sunday Morning Classes – 14 Classes are offered on Sundays beginning at 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00 am.
United Methodist Men – Small and large group meetings, activities and missions are planned each month.
United Methodist Women – Circles meet monthly with a focus on various missions and education.
Young Adults – Fun and fellowship-meets periodically.
